Title: " I had to see it to believe it"
Butterfly quote:
I'll tell this & I'll get off of the
"me" trip..lol....DCS has filed a different petition against her as to the one in the beginning. The first one, if charged, would terminate her
rights to Bronson. Now this one will not only do that, but also if charged never allow her to have other children again. If she were to get pregnant, DCS would
be at the hospital to claim the baby. She wouldn't see or touch it. I know of a couple people around here that-that has happened to. It was just alot for
me to swallow on that part.
I'm not taking up for the drugs at all....I just don't really know what to say about it. Her criminal case on the meth is scheduled to begin June 4th.
I do wish sometimes that I could just fly away into the clouds, at least for a little while, & forget all that's going on. Not have any worries at
all.

As to your current situation, I would like to
respond as follows:
I do not know if this will help you but this is a
true story
My Niece (age 38 now) used meth and other drugs
for over 15 years and was finally deemed mentally disabled and received a Social Security check in her early 30s. She would talk to herself and was
incomprehensible when she spoke to you. She was in jail for violence and almost everyone lost hope for her.
She was then forced (tackled and handcuffed) into
90-day lock down rehab, had her three children taken away from her, and her social security checks were under the control of my brother. This all came about
when her mother dropped over from a heart attack at the age of 56 in May 2004
That was all in 2004 and this month my niece will haver 4 years clean from all drugs, is working (she said that she wanted to work rather than get DISABILITY Social Security), has her own 3-bedroom home rental, has a nice car, goes to church, visit s with family a lot, and has all three of her children back. If I did not see it with my own eyes I would not believe it.
Sometimes miracles happen when we are at our lowest point and it seems there is no more hope. The way my niece got into recovery IMO can only be by the
intervention of God. Her recovery is remarkable as she does not have any permanent damage and has NO desire to ever go back to the drug lifestyle. She is
honest and upright and is totally different than hen she was into drugs.
I do not know how your sister's situation
will turn out but I do know that with God's intervention what seems impossible can be turned into something good. I have seen this happen with my own eyes
and am still amazed.
My niece and all her children were eating with us
at our mother's (her grandmother) day dinner yesterday and I just am in awe!! My mother was the only one that never gave up on my niece and never quit
praying for her and God used her to get her into recovery. I had given up but my mother never did. Thank God for mothers and grandmothers that have
faith in God FOR A LONG TIME and take action!!
Hope something in this real life story helps you
Your buddy
Stan
